Dr. James grew up in Palisade, MN. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with his Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Dr. James took over the Pierz Veterinary Clinic in October 2012 from Dr. Gordon deVries. He works on all animals of any type, and enjoys working on white tail deer. He specializes in small animal reproduction, orthopedic/soft tissue surgery, nutrition, and Dairy cattle production and surgery. He enjoys tinkering and playing with his collection of pinball machines, riding ATVs, boating, fishing and traveling. He lives in Pierz with his wife, Heather, their daughter, Clara, 3 cats and 2 dogs.
Dr. James is a member of the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association).
