Veterinarian

Mixed animal or Small animal Veterinarian needed for a modern Veterinary Practice in Morrison County, Minnesota. We currently employ 2 full-time doctors, 2 veterinary technicians, 5 veterinary assistants, and 2 receptionists. We have served the community since 1963, and under new ownership since 2012. Clinic was fully remodeled in 2015, we are continually improving and upgrading with plans for a second phase remodel/expansion planned within the next 5 years.

Currently, we are approximately 10% dairy, 10% beef, 65% small animals and 15% other animals including small ruminants, equine, white tail deer, and other exotics. Our philosophy is to provide affordable and effective diagnoses and treatments to the community and surrounding areas. To educate clients on important health issues for their animals. We pride ourselves on providing second opinion consults.

Our clinic features a treatment area with 2 dental sinks and digital dental x-rays. We also have a radiography and ultrasonography suite. We offer endoscopy for small animals and equine upper respiratory cases. Laboratory includes 2 Idexx chemistry machines, a Procyte CBC, UA/Sedivue, Coag. We have one surgery suite, and three exam rooms. We currently use AviMark software for our medical records.

Our location in Minnesota is ideal! We are 12 minutes from Little Falls (population about 8,700), 30 minutes from Brainerd (population about 21,000), 35 minutes from St Cloud and suburbs (population about 110,000), and 35 minutes from Mille Lacs Lake/Grand Casino. Entertainment of the Twin Cities is only a 90 minute drive. There are many lakes on which to own a cabin near and far. Great hunting and fishing is in our back yard also!

Looking for a general practitioner with mixed animal emphasis, also willing to consider small animal DVM. Degree required: DVM from accredited veterinary college.
